Imam Khamenei leading prayers over Ayatollah Tehrani Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on Thursday lead the funeral prayers for the late Ayatollah Aqa Mojtaba Tehrani on Thursday.

Ayatollah Tehrani died on Wednesday, the eve of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (AS), after brief illness.

Heads of the three branches of government and the state and military officials were present in the ceremony held at Martyr Motahhari High College in Tehran, IRNA reported.
