Bahraini citizin Abdul Rahman Adel Hasan Al-Hamad, 19 years old, died in Syria’s Al-Qusayr while fighting in the ranks of the terrorist group, Al-Nusra Front.
Bahrain Mirror website reported that Al-Hamad was the “son of Salafist preacher in a mosque south of Manama, Adel Al-Hamad… and he was fighting in the ranks of Al-Nusra Front, which is the military wing of Al-Qaeda in the Levant.”
The so-called “Al-Fateh Youth Coalition”, a supporter of the Bahraini regime , announced on its account on Twitter “the martyrdom of Bahraini young man, Abdul Rahman Adel Hasan Al-Hamad in Syria,” noting that “he is the son of Sheikh Adel Hasan, the preacher in Al-Nosof Mosque east Riffa.”
In parallel, the website stated that another Bahraini citizen who was a relative of Lafi Al-Dhafiri, member of the “National Unity Assembly”, was killed in the battles between the Syrian National Army and terrorist groups in Syria.
However, until today the Bahraini authority has refused to give any comment on such news, or on reports about Bahraini MPs’ penetration through the Syrian borders to meet with militants fighting against the Syrian regime.
