A bomb went off in the Nahrawan area of southeast Baghdad on Wednesday morning, killing seven people and wounding at least 14 others, security and medical sources said.

Attacks north of Baghdad, meanwhile, left three people dead.

Three militants were also killed in separate incidents.

This escalation in violence is attributed to the outstanding political disputes that allow the militants to violate all the security measures taken to protect all the Iraqis.
