The meeting between the Russian President Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ahmadinejad, on the sidelines of the summit of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, gains a particular importance by tackling the Russian-Iranian arms deal as former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's decided to ban providing Tehran with S-300 rockets for three years.
As carryig out the deal was postponed, Russian sources mentioned that Moscow would provide Tehran with a different brand of rockets, yet with the same efficiency, to fortify its reputation as a main arm exporters.
