In protest against the siege imposed by the militants to the western part of Aleppo, the residents of Orchard Palace neighborhood, which is controlled by the insurgents, heavily demonstrated, chanting slogans against the actions of the militant groups.

According to Syrian citizens, the militants in Aleppo opened fire to disperse the demonstration which protested against the siege that prevents the access of the foodstuffs and medicines to the region dominated by the Syrian army.

The demonstrators pledged to escalate their protests in response to the siege.

Thousands of civilians started to suffer from hunger as the siege has been imposed for several weeks, according to confirmed information.

An internet video showed on Tuesday dozens of civilians gathering and protesting at a militant checkpoint in Orchard Palace neighborhood, where the militants block all the supplies sent to one million residents, living in the western part of the city under the rule of the Syrian government.

Syrian opposition sources mentioned that one of the Shariah Board clerics condemned the siege and considered that the militants are oppressing the besieged.

Aleppo suffering was tackled in a conference in Damascus. The conferees called on ending all the sieges in Aleppo and in other Syrian cities.

The conference was attended by the World Health Organization that asserted the importance supplying the civilians with all their medical needs.
