In a statement it issued, the Army leadership said that: As part of maintaining security and stability, an Army checkpoint in Arsal stopped earlier today a pickup truck driven by someone, and it was loaded with arms, light ammunitions, hand grenades, and explosives with remote detonators, in addition to special outfits.
The National news agency added that “a number of case-related arrests were also made… Detainees were handed over to competent authorities, and an investigation was launched.”
