"Anger Strike" in Occupied Palestine

The Palestinians heavily demonstrated Monday within the 1948 occupied territories, condemning "Prafer Scheme" which stipulates expelling the Palestinians from their villages and confiscating vast areas of their land in the Negev.

The Palestinians heavily demonstrated Monday within the 1948 occupied territories, condemning "Prafer Scheme" according to which hundreds of thousands acres will be confiscated from the Negev Palestinians and tens of thousands will be expelled from their villages.

 

 

The demonstrators closed, hours before noon, Beersheba main street and refused to comply with the police orders to vacate the premises. The police attacked the demonstrators violently. hitting them and pushing them to end their protests before arresting 14 of them.


The demonstrators are still protesting, demanding the release of the detainees.


The Israeli police assailed MK Jamal Zahalka, the head of the parliamentary NDA, during clashes with police in front of the Office of the so-called "Nomads Naturalizing Authority" in Beersheba, according to a published video on Palestinian websites.
