Hezbollah condemned the assassination of the Syrian struggler media figure martyr Mohammad Dirar Jammo in the southern Lebanese coastal town of Sarafand.
"This crime increases the belief that the criminal hand that is committing massacres in Syria does not distinguish between those fighting in the battlefield and those struggling through their words and stance," Hezbollah said Wednesday in a statement. "This indicates the inability of the groups behind murderers to confront an argument with a counter-argument,” it added.
"This crime shows the elimination approach of the terrorism and violence groups which claims seeking freedom and justice while exerting efforts to stifle every free opinion that contradicts with their interests and desires,” the statement read.
"The struggler martyr Dirar Jammo had remained the voice of free stance and honest speech," Hezbollah stressed.
"This crime sounds the alarm in Lebanon and urges looking for the most adequate manner to confront these terrorist groups before they pose a great danger and become out of control," the statement added.
Hezbollah called on "Lebanese authorities to take all the necessary and immediate measures in order to arrest the terrorists and drag them to justice," and "to pursue the conspirators and instigators in order to account and punish them and to secure the country from the evil of other crimes they may be intriguing."
