Retired singer Fadel Shaker who has been hiding since Abra clashes between Ahmad al-Assir partisans last month, is seeking to sell his properties in a bid to travel abroad, Lebanese daily reported on Friday.
An-Nahar newspaper quoted security sources as saying that Shaker has appeared in an area near Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh near Sidon, where he met several people in order to sell his properties.
The sources added that Shaker, who was charged along with Assir in absentia, told the people he met that he needed the money because he had an intention to travel abroad.
Asir's bodyguard was arrested at Rafik Hariri International Airport last week as he was attempting to flee Beirut to Nigeria.
State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged Ali Abdul Wahad, a 30-year-old Palestinian, on Wednesday.
Heavy fight between Lebanese army and Assir supporters killed at least 23 Lebanese soldiers.
