An American official announced Monday that Washington has not decided halting its military and economic aids to Egypt yet "although it may settle the issue in the coming weeks."
"All our aids to Egypt are being now examined and reevaluated, and we will take the suitable decision when it is necessary," said Mary Harph, the Assistant Spokeswoman of the US Department of State.
Due to the latest Developments in Egypt, the American Administration is being pressured to stop its annual aids to Cairo.
The U.S. supports Egypt with $1.55 billion, including $1.3 billion to the army and $0.25 billion to the economic sector.
