Cameron: Strikes against Syria Await UN Inspectors’ Report

British Prime Minister David Cameron asserted that the military action against Syria will not precede the UN inspectors’ report.

British Prime Minister David Cameron asserted that the Cameronmilitary action against Syria will not precede the UN inspectors' report, adding that a number of measures must be taken to "prevent the Syrian government from committing such actions in the future."

"We do not aim at changing the regime in Syria, yet at banning the use of chemical weapons in the future," Cameron said before the House of Commons.

"We will discuss all the options that will be approved by the United Nations, yet we know that the Syrian government used the chemical weapons," he added.

"There are no solid proofs that indicate the involvement of the Syrian militant groups," British PM noted.

"The military strikes against Syria must be supported by a consensus," Cameron stressed.
