Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri asserted the responsibility of the Libyan authorities to disclose the destiny of Imam Moussa al-Sadr and called on all the Syrians to reach a consensus that protects their country.

Berri stressed that Amal Movement has always supported the Libyan revolution against the former regime, yet expressed his surprise for the hesitation that the Libyan authorities show in following Imam Sadr cause.

He further addressed the Libyan authorities by saying that the revolution in Libya must help to answer all the Lebanese questions which target the freedom of Imam Sadr.

Commenting on Syria crisis, Berri called on all the Syrians to reach an agreement that protects Syrian peace, security and stability.

"Foreign military intervention will lead to fragmenting Syria, and the Zionist entity will solely benefit from such moves," he added.

"Negotiation is the track that must be adopted to end Syria crisis," Lebanese Speaker said.

Locally, Speaker Nabih Berri, considered that some Lebanese factions consider themselves as the State representatives, calling on resuming the national dialogue sessions that can put an end to the current crisis.

Berri also suggested a roadmap, according to which, PM-Designate Salam attends the national dialogue sessions to discuss the cabinet's Policy Statement and supporting the army and controlling the border with Syria amid the spread of weapons.

Berri also called for an open-ended dialogue sessions to discuss the economic crisis, the electoral law and a national defense strategy, underlining that the only acceptable weaponry in Lebanon is that of the army and the resistance.

Speaker Nabih Berri further emphasized that the Zionist entity is involved in the Dahiyeh and Tripoli bombings as well as in the launching of rockets onto the different Lebanese areas.

Berri condemned the Lebanese political silence towards the Israeli violations for the Lebanese sovereignty.
