Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades called on all units to consider next Friday as the “first day of popular resistance against the Israeli occupation in the well-known places of confrontation.”
A statement released by the Brigades, which is Fatah’s military wing, called on all units and sleeper cells to prepare for a confrontation with the Israeli occupation beginning on Friday. The statement further added there will be a “green light” to carry out attacks.
The statement also referred to the events that take place at the al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis by the occupation. “We are all witnessing the invasion by herds of settlers to the compound and (they) harm the worshippers without any intervention from the international community,” the statement read.
