Alexei Boshkov, stressed that it is impossible to implement the US demand which insists on delivery of Syrian chemical weapons to international observers within two weeks or 3 weeks.
President of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Russian Duma (lower parliamentary chamber), Alexei Boshkov, stressed that it is impossible to implement the US demand which insists on delivery of Syrian chemical weapons to international observers within two weeks or 3 weeks.
"The demands of Washington regarding to hand over control of chemical weapons to the international observers within two weeks or 3 weeks is non-professional," Boshkov wrote on his Twitter account.
"In Syria, there is at least 42 warehouses, some of them are located currently in combat zones," he said, adding that Washington is no longer able to make decisions in the political world alone.
Boshkov noted that the BRICS member states have supported Russia's position on Syria, as well as the participants in the latest summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
"This should be a lesson to U.S. President Barack Obama," the Russian MP concluded.
