A leaked secret document of the U.S. intelligence revealed that militants linked to al Al-Qaeda terrorist organization in Syria have possessed and made poisonous sarin gas in order to carry out chemical attacks in the crisis-hit Arab state.
The document published by the American website WND stated that sarin gas bombs have been confiscated from Al-Nusra Front militants deployed in southern Turkey on the border with Syria during May.
The document pointed out to the involvement of "Al-Qaeda" in Iraq in producing the sarin, stating that American investigations - based on tribal sources in Iraq - revealed the presence of 50 common indicators that showing Al Qaeda in Iraq developing the sarin gas to be sent to the mercenaries in Syria.
Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the Syrian government accuses foreign actors of orchestrating the conflict by supporting the militant opposition groups with arms and money.
