Israeli occupation troops Tuesday shot and fatally wounded a Palestinian during an early-morning raid on his home the West Bank refugee camp of Jenin, Palestinian security officials said.
"The wanted suspect was injured, evacuated by military forces for further treatment and later died of his wounds in an Israeli hospital," a Zionist military statement claimed.
Security officials told the Wafa news agency that Zionist troops riding more than 20 vehicles entered the refugee camp at dawn and raided several houses. Gunfire was heard shortly thereafter, and shock grenades were hurled. Several houses' doors were blown open.
Palestinian youths then began to clash with the troops and several were hurt by gunfire and tear gas. The IDF reportedly arrested a 21-year-old man named Mohammad Abdul Latif al-Fayed.
