A military source told SANA that the army units eliminated the last gatherings of terrorists in those three villages having killed large numbers of them.
A rocket launcher, a mortar and several heavy machine guns mounted on vehicles were destroyed, while two mortars and a 14.5 mm caliber machine gun were seized, according to the source.
Earlier last Sunday, units of the Syrian armed forces restored security and stability to the villages of Msheirfeh, Masaadeh, Msei'eed, Khattab, Asmad, Um Hartein al-Sharqiyeh and Um Hartein al-Gharbiyeh in the eastern countryside of Homs.
