Syria's permanent representative at the United Nations Bashar Jaafari stressed on Friday that the United Nations Security Council resolution on destroying the chemical weapons in Syria covers most of his government's concerns.
Jaafari told reporters at New York headquarters that countries which provide support for the opposition militants, i.e. the U.S., Turkey, Qatar, France and the Saudi Arabia, must also abide by the UNSC resolution.
"The Syrian government is fully committed to the presence of the Geneva conference II in November to resolve the Syrian crisis," the Syrian diplomat said.
