Iran Unveils New Combat Drone

The Iranian army has unveiled a new domestically produced combat drone, dubbed Yasir, on Saturday, local media reports.

Yasir is equipped with state-of-art and light cameras for reconnaissance. It can fly for eight hours with a range of 200 km and reach an altitude of 4,500 m.

The presentation ceremony was attended by senior military officials, including the Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan.

On Friday Iran unveiled another unmanned aircraft - Shahed-129, or Witness-129. It has a range of 1,700 km, a 24-hour non-stop flight capability and can carry eight bombs or missiles capable of hitting both stationary and moving targets.
