Zionist soldiers and military vehicles have widely deployed on Friday in the orchards and near the barrier with occupied Palestine at the Fatima Gate on the southern border of Lebanon.
Al-Manar correspondent reported that Zionist vehicles distributed on the military road adjacent to the barbed fence leading from the town of Odeissi up till the Khiyam village. Tracked personnel carriers, command jeeps, armored military vehicles, Hammers and ambulances have been also in the scene.
After more than five-hour presence in the place, the Zionist forces carried out a field maneuver between the orchards and on the military road, the correspondent added, indicating that enemy troops simulated operations of alert and repel for attempts to enter the occupied territories.
Some vehicles raised dust and thick smoke without using live ammunition.
The maneuver included a series of provocations against the Lebanese side, the most prominent was when a number of Zionist soldiers climbed a concrete wall that rises seven meters and portrayed the Lebanese army checkpoint adjacent to the border at Fatima Gate. The Lebanese army mobilized at once, deployed soldiers and conducted patrols.
UNIFIL vehicles also deployed in the place trying to ease the repercussions of the Zionist flagrant provocations.
The occupation army repeatedly carry out small-scale maneuvers in the vicinity of military sites bordering Lebanon along the border right up until the Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shuba Hills.
The Zionist army has recently paved a new way at the border with Lebanon in an attempt to terrorize citizens and spread panic among them.
Since the 2006 July war on Lebanon, the Zionist entity has spared no chance to violate the Lebanese sovereignty in flagrant breaching of the UN resolution 1701.
