"We cannot assure that the issue will be resolved soon, and what was published by some newspapers was exaggerated," Shoaib added.
He also pointed out that the Syrian authorities approved the release of Tal al-Mlouhe to facilitate the final resolution of the issue as the kidnappers will be embarrassed after this decision.
The Lebanese As-safir newspaper mentioned that the Secretary General of the General Security Abbas Ibrahim met the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon and the families of the abductees before he urgently visited Qatar.
Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that General Ibrahim informed the Lebanese senior officials about the positive developments after his trip to Qatar.
According to a presidential sources, the abductees were moved to the Syrian-Turkish borders where they will be under the Turkish security control.
"The remaining unresolved point is whether the release process will be gradual or at once," the sources added, "In the coming hours, the process will be carried out."
