Syrian Army Regains Control over 40 Towns in Aleppo Countryside

The Syrian army regained full control over 40 towns in Aleppo after reopening Hamah-Khanaser-Aleppo.

The Syrian troops drove the militants out of Abu Jrein town in the south of Aleppo, opening the way towards regaining as-Safira town and Qwaydes airport.

In Damascus countryside, the Syrian military regained full control over the village of Talfita and the mounts surrounding it.

It also controlled al-Qasmeyya town in eastern Gouta, according to al-Manar reporter.

This field progress was achieved by the Syrian army in other cities, including Deir Ezzor.

Earlier, two mortar rounds slammed into the central Abu Rummaneh neighborhood of the Syrian capital Damascus on, killing four people and causing damage, state news agency SANA said.

"Two mortar shells fired by terrorists landed in front of the Dar Al-Salam school in Nejma Square in Damascus," the agency said. It reported "injuries and material damage" in the incident, but gave no further details.

In Idlib, a motorcycle bomb killed a number of people, according to security sources.

On the other hand, the clashes among the terrorist groups continued, especially in Deir Ezzor.
