National News Agency, NNA, reported the toll, adding that the fight declined on Friday morning, despite intermittent sniper fire.

Fierce battle took place between Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhoods, where gunmen used rockets and machineguns, as they threw light flares to see the sources of rocket fire.

Lebanese Army at night responded to the sources of gunfire and conducted mechanized patrols at the entrance of the city, NNA said.
The traffic movement in Tripoli on Friday was slow but most of the shops opened their doors.

Meanwhile, the Government Commissioner to the Military Court, Judge Saqr Saqr, asked all security chiefs in the north, to provide him with the names of the participants in the fighting in Tripoli.

The move paves the way to issue arrest warrants against them, the agency said.
