The Iranian top diplomat is scheduled to arrive in the French capital on Tuesday to participate in the 37th session of the UNESCO General Conference.
Zarif will deliver a speech to the gathering which will start work on November 5 and will last for 15 days.
The Iranian top diplomat left Tehran for Pretoria on Wednesday morning to attend the 11th joint cooperation commission meeting of Iran and South Africa.
Prior to the visit to Paris, the Iranian foreign minister plans to travel to Turkey, Istanbul, to address the 60th session of Disarmament & International and Regional Security on Friday morning.
Zarif will then depart for the Turkish capital of Ankara to hold meetings with senior officials there.
After the visits to Turkey and France, the Iranian foreign minister will take a trip to Geneva, Switzerland, on November 7 to meet representatives of the six world powers on the possible settlement of Iran-West nuclear standoff. The meeting will last for two days.
The last meeting of the seven countries was in Geneva and lasted for two days on October 15 and 16. Both Tehran and the delegations of the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) voiced satisfaction in the outcomes of the Geneva meeting and decided to send their experts to two days of talks in Vienna on October 30 and 31 to discuss details of Iran's new proposal for the soothing the crisis.
