The Lebanese Army arrested two suspects in the explosion, a communiqué issued by the Lebanese Army said.

Earlier this morning, a strange device was reported to be placed on the side of Jlala-Chtoura highway, but it exploded before a Lebanese Army patrol was dispatched to examine it.

It is to note that military experts scrutinized the explosion scene and said that the bomb weighed 300 gms, and was detonated via remote control.
