U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, said Sunday that the world powers approached to find a solution through the recent round of negotiations with Iran in Geneva.

"This goal can be achieved with the good work," Kerry stated.

The U.S. official made the remarks during a news conference after a three-day meeting between Iran and the G5+1 major powers which ended without agreement.

"We came to Geneva to narrow differences and I can tell you without exaggeration that we did not narrow only a gap of differences and clarify what is left of it, but we also have made significant progress in working through the approach of how to rein the (nuclear) program and ensure its peaceful nature," Kerry said.
