Russia has launched a dual-use defense satellite Raduga-1M using the Proton-M rocket from the Baikonur’s launchpad Tuesday, RT website reported.
"Aerospace Defense Forces oversaw the launch of the rocket carrying the Raduga-1M satellite which was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Tuesday, November 12 at 3:46am Moscow time,” spokesperson for the Aerospace Defense Forces Colonel Dmitry Zenin told Ria Novosti.
There were no problems reported during the launch.
