A “huge” explosion hit the Egyptian gas pipeline, which will prevent the country from sending gas supply to the Zionist entity and Jordan.
Unknown “saboteurs” bombed the Egyptian gas pipeline of Sinai on Wednesday which led to a huge explosion, AFP news agency reported.
Egypt's official news agency MENA stated that armed forces rushed to the scene; however they failed to control the fire.
Zionist National Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau warned that Israel "should be prepared for a situation where gas flow from Egypt would stop", Israeli daily Haaretz reported.
Landau has previously stated that “gas is the most important economic component of the (1979) peace treaty between the two countries", knowing that the Egyptian gas supply forms 40% of Israel’s natural gas.
