Protesters called on the United States to pressure Bahrain to stop the attacks on peaceful protesters
Protesters in the US denounced violence against demonstrators and called for democracy in the Gulf country in a rally that started at the Saudi Embassy and then marched to the White House.
About a dozen people stood outside the embassy gates, singing peace songs and chanting pro-democracy slogans. Protesters were appalled by images of demonstrators being attacked in Bahrain's Pearl Square.
Protesters called on the United States to pressure Bahrain to stop the attacks denouncing the US administrations’ putting priority of its fifth fleet in Bahrain over human rights abuses there.
