HDC condemned the blasts in Bir Hassan that targeted yesterday Tuesday the Iranian Embassy, and affirmed the constant national stance of pressing continual efforts to combat and defeat terrorism in all its forms.

The Higher Defense Council (HDC) condemned the blasts in Bir Hassan that targeted yesterday Tuesday the Iranian Embassy, and affirmed the constant national stance of pressing continual efforts to combat and defeat terrorism in all its forms.

The HDC on Wednesday convened under the chairmanship of Lebanese President Michel Sleiman to look into local security developments, in presence of senior military figures and concerned officials.

It also reviewed the course of execution of the security plan in Tripoli as well as the Syrian displaced persons dossier.

Eventually, the council took the appropriate decisions and procedures and informed concerned ministries and administrations of them to handle issues.
