The Russian Deputy FM Michael Bogdanov highlighted the acceleration of reaching a solution for Syria crisis in order to halt its repercussions on the neighboring countries, including Lebanon.

The Russian Deputy FM Michael Bogdanov, who is also Putin's envoy to the Middle East, highlighted the acceleration of reaching a solution for Syria crisis in order to halt its repercussions on the neighboring countries, including Lebanon.

Bogdanov offered his condolences for the martyrs of the blasts that hit the Iranian embassy and congratulated the Lebanese for their  Independence, during the celebration which the Lebanese embassy in Moscow conducted, inviting different diplomatic, political and social figures in Russia.

The Russian diplomat told Al-Manar that the only reason for postponing Geneva II is that the US for an extra duration to convince the Syrian opposition, especially the "National Coalition," to attend the conference on the basis of Geneva I.
