Hamdallah Visited Sleiman: Palestinians Committed to Lebanese Law

Sleiman met Thursday at Baabda palace with Palestinian Prime Minister, Rami Hamdallah, who relayed President Mahmoud Abbas’s keenness on the commitment of the Palestinians in Lebanon to the Lebanese enforced laws.

Hamdallah also informed Sleiman of the headway of the negotiations with the Israelis, indicating that talks are still in limbo due to Israel's terms, pressures, and colonization policy.

He added that the inter-Palestinian reconciliation has as well reached an impasse.

The pair also discussed the current juncture in the region, especially in Syria.

Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam also met Thursday at his Beirut residence with Palestinian Premier, Rami Hamdallah, over the current general situation and most recent developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.
