Hamdallah also informed Sleiman of the headway of the negotiations with the Israelis, indicating that talks are still in limbo due to Israel's terms, pressures, and colonization policy.
He added that the inter-Palestinian reconciliation has as well reached an impasse.
The pair also discussed the current juncture in the region, especially in Syria.
Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam also met Thursday at his Beirut residence with Palestinian Premier, Rami Hamdallah, over the current general situation and most recent developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.
