How did the Israeli press view Martyr Lakkis?
Runin Bergman said that the Israeli intelligence services have known Bergman since the eighties.
"Lakkis's name was mentioned by Yediot Ahronot in 2011 when it listed him as a representative of Hezbollah in the "Shadows Army" which includes the organizations of resistance in Iran, Syria, Lebanon and Gaza.
Meir Dagan said that Lakkis has gained all his qualifications through the experiences he had in producing and developing the military equipments for Hezbollah.
"Lakkis enabled Hezbollah to be the strongest organization throughout history and to possess the hugest military capability which surpasses that of 90% of the world countries.
In 1999, the Directorate of Military Intelligence (A'man) considered that Lakkis was responsible for purchasing Hezbollah developed weaponry, including radars, GPS devices, nocturnal vision systems, vests.
The Israeli enemy says Martyr Lakkis was responsible for building Hezbollah military capabilities after 2000 to face any Israeli invasion with strong fortifications as well as endurance conditions and to protect the rocketry power during the war.
"This resulted in damaging the Israeli tanks and thwarting the enemy war plans in 2006, thanks to the brilliant men as Mughniyeh and Lakkis."
