Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hussein Dehqan said Sunday evening that Iran has boosted its defensive power to the extent that would give crushing response to any possible aggression, state-run news agency reported.
Speaking in a televised interview with channel two of Iran’s state television (IRIB), the minister stressed that Iran has been pursuing a “defensive and not aggressive policy.”
Commenting on recent literal military threats made by US officials against Iran, the minister said they were just “rhetoric with no guarantee.”
He stressed that US officials should be wise enough and never use military threats against Iranians.
