The Bahraini security forces have been launching a crackdown against the area of Bani Jamra for three days in row, raiding the houses to carry out activists and to vandalize the properties.

The Bahraini security forces have been launching a crackdown against the area of Bani Jamra for three days in row, raiding the houses to carry out activists and to vandalize the properties.

The opposition websites quoted the local residents saying that some private properties were robbed, vandalized and cracked.

The operation was carried out by special troops, the websites added,  reflecting the security alert imposed by the regime against the area.

The opposition sources asserted that the regime forces raided the houses, using tear gases.

The sources added that  more than ten youths were arrested and moved to unknown places as their parents have not been informed about their conditions.
