The Egyptian security forces raided the headquarters of Al-Jazeera TV channel in al-Jeeza and arrested 11 Qatari, including four officers.

The Egyptian newspaper, al-Ahram, mentioned Thursday that the security forces confiscated a number of audio devices, camera tripods, video tapes and broadcast devices which are operated in Egypt without a license.

The Criminal Investigations Services had also received a communiqué which states that there are weapons held by a number of Qatari in the channel's headquarters, yet the security forces did not find them.
