The Syrian Army on Wednesday carried out operations against terrorists’ gatherings, eliminating armed terrorist groups and destroying their weapons and equipment in several areas around the country, SANA reported.

The Syrian army units targeted and killed scores of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities, in a series of operations in many areas in Damascus Countryside.

The army also targeted terrorists in the areas of Ein Terma and al-Mulaiha, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

An army unit targeted a terrorists’ gathering in the area of Yalda and killed scores of the terrorists. Another army unit killed 15 terrorists in an ambush between Housh Blas and al-Sbeineh.

In the area of Khan al-Sheeh, the army eliminated dozens of terrorists. Among them were Mohammad Fayeq Abdul-Hai from Chad and Oudai al-Zubaydi.

Another army unit clashed with terrorists in the area of al-Jam’yat and killed two terrorists.

Meanwhile, the army eliminated scores of terrorists in the areas of al-Qaboun and al-Qadam.

The Syrian Army units also eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in the villages and towns of Kuwairis, Erbid, Jdaideh, al-Zarzour, Kaffin, A'azaz, Mayer, Hreitan and Oram in Aleppo countryside.

Large numbers of terrorists were eliminated in a series of army operations targeting their hideouts and gatherings in Khan al-Asal, Kafr Naha, Maaret al-Artiq, and al-Mansoura.

The army clashed with armed terrorists groups in the area of Daraa al-Balad and killed scores of them.

It also eliminated all members of terrorists groups near al-Hamza Mosque and al-Urdun Street.

An army unit foiled the attempt of an armed terrorist group to infiltrate Zamreen town from Um al-Aousaj town, killing and injuring all of its members.

The Syrian Army units destroyed weapons cache and terrorists' dens, some of which belong to the so called the Islamic State in Iraq and Sham (ISIS) in Homs, killing many terrorists who attempted to attack al-Rastan Dam guarding personnel.

An army unit destroyed terrorists' dens and a tunnel they were digging near Mostafa Basha Mosque in Bab Hood neighborhood, killing many terrorists and injuring others.

Terrorists' gatherings were destroyed in Keesin village and al-Sheikh Ibrahim al-Hakim area in al-Rastan, in addition to foiling an armed terrorist group's attempt to attack al-Rastan Dam guarding personnel.

An army unit further killed in a qualitative operation an armed terrorist group in al-Ghasibiyeh village that was firing mortar shells on al-Dwier village, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
