One Iraqi was killed on Monday as clashes erupted when security forces moved to dismantle the main anti-government protest site.
Ten other people were injured in the clashes which took place an area of the city of Ramadi that adjoins the protest site.
Security forces were deployed near the protest site, and helicopters were reportedly firing into the area.
Two security forces vehicles were burned out and gunmen had seized a third, AFP reported.
Iraqiya state TV had earlier said that "local police are removing the tents from the protest site in Anbar" province, after an agreement between security forces, religious leaders and tribal sheikhs.
