Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Alaeddin Boroujerdi hailed the arrest of Abdullah Azzam Brigades’ “Emir”, Majed al-Majed.

In remarks to Fars News agency, Boroujerdi praised the efforts of the Lebanese authorities to arrest the perpetrators of the twin bombing that targeted the Iranian embassy in Beirut last November.

“Boroujerdi hailed the arrest of the main member involved” in the embassy attack, Fars reported.

“The Lebanese government, which is tasked with securing its country, should take into consideration that Majed al-Majed, who is Saudi, is the head” of the group responsible for the attack on the embassy, Boroujerdi added.
