In Tehran, Syria Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad asserted his country’s support to Iran’s participation in Geneva II conference.

In Tehran, Syria Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad asserted his country's support to Iran's participation in Geneva II conference.

"The countries which will attend the conference must halt backing terrorism," he told Al-Manar correspondent in Tehran.

"Any attempt to absent the Islamic Republic of Iran will fail because Tehran has been since the beginning of Syria crisis supporting the political solution."

Mikdad also pointed out that Syria and Iran perform a high level of coordination.
