“On January 13 there will be a meeting with Kerry and a three-party one with Kerry and Brahimi,” a source at the Russian Foreign Ministry said, commenting on Lavrov's meetings due in Paris.
Kerry called Lavrov on Thursday to discuss the preparation of the international conference on Syria, Itar-Tass reported.
“It was agreed to continue the joint preparations for this forum at a meeting of the Russian and US foreign ministers to be held in Paris,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Russian diplomats reiterated Friday Moscow's support to the Syria government in its battle against the terrorist groups.
