At noon Monday, House Speaker Nabih Berri received at his Ain el-Tineh residence in Beirut head of al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc, Fouad Siniora.

The meeting mainly discussed current situation and the cabinet formation process.

Progress is being made on charted courses but we need to deliberate further, Fouad Siniora said.

"The meeting was fruitful and excellent and, I think we're moving in the right direction," he concluded.
