Head of Iranˈs Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA)Gholam Hussein Shafei stressed here Tuesday that Tehran and Beirut will witness an economic boom in near future.

In a meeting with Lebanese Ambassador to Tehran Fadi Haj Ali, Shafei stated that by removing international obstacles, the two countries can boost bilateral cooperation in various fields.

"Iran is ready to open a new chapter in its ties with Beirut," he said, adding that exchange of delegations can help achieve the objective.

For his part, Haj Ali said Lebanon and Iran have signed several agreements that have not been materialized yet, calling for their implementation.

Lebanon, he said, is ready to remove any obstacles to expansion of Beirut-Tehran relations.
