Our reporter quoted the Syrian delegation as assuring that it is ready to sit with all sides as this move will help end the violence taking place in Syria.

However, the delegation stressed that a meeting with representatives of the foreign-sponsored opposition will not taking place, noting that this side “is not ready and has nothing to offer.”

A Syrian sources had said that the opposition coalition has not decided yet whether it will go ahead with the talks or not, adding that there are internal disputes on who will head the delegation after the coalition chief, Ahmad Jarba, had withdrawn the talks.
