Lebanese President, Michel Sleiman, on Monday called upon all security, military and judicial authorities to be firm and unyielding while tracking the authors and instigators of the recurrent blasts in Lebanon.
Sleiman upped this call after a suicide bomber blew himself up in a public minibus in Choueifat this evening.
Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary MP Ali Ammar sternly condemned on Monday the bombing of a minibus in Choueifat area, stressing that terrorism is faced when security institutions are beefed up and when support for so-called oppositionists in the region is ceased.
"We must not fall into the trap claiming that these terrorists have a political program. Those do not recognize [other] religions and plurality," he said.
"Choueifat crime is part of the terrorist Takfiri series targeting Lebanon and the region," he added, holding the international community responsible for terrorists entering Lebanon.
He also called for speeding up the formation of an all-inclusive government and for rallying around the Lebanese army.
Different Lebanese political parties and figures condemned the suicidal blast and called on facing the terrorist series.
