Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Wednesday that his country's nuclear technology is non-negotiable and US officials statements about Iranian nuclear facilities are invalid.
“Iran’s nuclear talks are a reality and US officials should review this reality once more,” said the minister while speaking in a joint press conference with the visiting Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madni.
Zarif made the remarks while commenting on recent statements made by US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman at a meeting of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Sherman claimed that the Geneva deal has frozen Iran’s nuclear program.
Some of these words are made only for their domestic use. They have to stop speaking like that if they want to find a solution. Making such comments is not effective or useful.”
Zarif further reiterated the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.
