Bahraini media sources mentioned that the opposition has held several secret meetings with the Crown Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa in preparations for launching a fruitful dialogue.

The meetings would be more frequent in the coming weeks in order to raise the level of coordination between the two sides.

The opposition suggested a number of measures that focus on releasing all the detainees, especially children and women as a positive gesture, and halting the trials as well as the actions which might further inflame tensions in the political arena."

The Bahraini opposition stresses that any dialogue must mainly discuss an elected government, the form and the powers of the legislative authority, the voting law as well as the issues of corruption, naturalization, discrimination, the judiciary system and the security file.
