Abdul Rahman Diab, a Jabal Mohsen resident known as Aboudi Nwasi, was shot by an unidentified motorcyclist.
As news broke out about Diab's murder, gunmen from the rival neighborhoods of Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh engaged in sniper attacks.
At least four people were injured in the clashes.
