Lebanese authorities are in the process of filing a complaint with the UN Security Council over a Zionist strike two days ago that targeted a Resistance site on Lebanese territory.
Lebanon will submit its report on grounds that the Zionist entity violated the UN resolution that ended the 2006 July war which the enemy entity launched on Lebanon.
President Michel Sleiman has asked Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil to gather all available information in advance of lodging a complaint with the Security Council, according to a Wednesday statement by the presidency.
Sleiman met with army chief of staff Walid Sleimen and the latter's deputy, who provided the president with details of the hostile strike, it added.
Since July war 2006, the Zionist entity spared no effort to violate Lebanon's sovereignty and breaching the UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Resolution 1701 called for the immediate cessation of all Zionist military activity in Lebanon as part of a full cessation of hostilities between the entity and Hezbollah following a 33-day war.
