Boroujerdi Visits Berri, Confirms Unwavering Support for Resistance

"We thanked the Speaker for his participation in the conference of Islamic countries' councils' union held recently in Tehran. On this occasion, I would like to remind of the deep bilateral relations on all levels. Within this context, Lebanon is the sole country in the world that maintains friendly ties on the level of the Lebanese-Iranian friendship committee," the Iranian official told reporters following the meeting.

"Our support for the Lebanese state and for the Resistance in Lebanon and Syria is constant. We have presented Berri with a detailed report on the outcome of our state visit to Syria and the parleys we held with the Syrian officials. We are satisfied that Syrians have managed to score a number of military achievements in their fighting takfiri terrorist groups," he added.

He went on to say that an alliance had taken place between the Zionist entity and terrorist hardliners sowing chaos on the Syrian scene, recalling Netanyahu's inspection of injured among terrorist in Israeli hospitals. "Zionists and terrorists share the same goals," he stressed.

Boroujerdi also visited the tombs of martyr Haj Imad Moughneyyeh and Hezbollah martyrs putting a wreath on the tomb of martyr Redwan Fares who was killed in the suicidal explosion that targeted the Iranian embassy in Beirut.
